Zea fell in love with her stepbrother, but was repeatedly rejected after expressing her feelings.

On Zea’s birthday, Theo brought his childhood sweetheart and forced Zea, who suffered from stomach disease, to drink a full glass of strong liquor.

The moment Theo missed the ambulance that was treating Zea, Zea finally decided to give up.

But when she really left, he despised her and cursed her, but begged her to come back to him like crazy.

——

“Zea is our Guzman Family’s adopted daughter. Even if I like anyone, I will never like her. Unless the sun rises from the west, I will never marry her in this life.”

Theo sat in the gray box, holding a glass of wine in his hand and drinking it all, his tone full of disdain for Zea.

Zea stood at the door, holding her mobile phone tightly in her hand.

The screen was still on and the text message on it was clearly visible. It was sent by Zea’s uncle.

“Zea, your room is ready. Uncle hopes you can seriously consider coming to Chark to live with me. No matter how good the Guzman Family is, it is not your home after all.”

Zea looked at the man she had secretly loved for ten years through the transparent glass and the excitement in her heart gradually came to an end. It was time to put an end to this relationship that ended in vain.

Zea opened her mobile phone and quickly replied to her uncle: [Okay, uncle, I will deal with things here as soon as possible and go to Chark to find you.]

As soon as the message was sent, her uncle called. “Zea, you finally agreed to come to Chark. I’m so happy. Do you want me to pick you up?”

“No, uncle, I haven’t finished my work here yet. Give me a month. When I have handed over everything, I will go to find you.”

Zea’s eyes always fell on the man with superior looks in the box. “You can also get together with your friends during this month, especially the Guzman Family. You should talk to the Guzman Family. They have been very kind to you over the years. If they feel uncomfortable, you can talk to me. I can give them the land project in Esterport as compensation for taking care of you for so many years.”

Zea nodded lightly, without any joy in her eyes.

“See you in a month.”

Before the phone was hung up, a tall figure stood behind Zea at some point.

“Who are you going to see in a month?” Theo asked in a low voice, his tone a little cold.

Zea was startled by Theo’s sudden voice, took a step back and happened to bump into his arms.

Their eyes met.

Zea hurriedly broke free from Theo’s arms, stood up and just as she was about to speak, she saw a tall beauty coming toward her.

That was Theo’s childhood sweetheart, Amber.

Zea had seen her in Theo’s mobile phone album.

“Theo, this is your sister, right?”

The woman held Theo’s arm intimately and Zea’s eyes flashed with surprise, but she quickly covered it up.

“Hello, I’m Theo’s friend, my name is Amber.”

Amber extended her hand to Zea generously.

Zea looked at Amber’s hand extended to her, a little stunned. Although she had heard that Theo had a favorite childhood sweetheart, she couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed when she saw him bring her in person.

“Hello, I’m Zea.”

Zea held Amber’s hand back, but she still couldn’t say the word “sister”.

Just when Zea was about to let go of Amber’s hand, she suddenly heard Amber “hiss” and then quickly let go of Zea’s hand.

Before Zea could react, Theo had already held Amber’s hand nervously.

A scratch suddenly appeared on Amber’s fair middle finger.

Amber covered her hand and tears instantly filled her eyes.

“I don’t know what Zea was wearing on her hand and it suddenly scratched my hand. Theo, my hand hurts so much.”

Theo glanced at the ring on Zea’s hand and frowned.

“Why did you wear this ring again? You knew there was a crack on the ring, but you still wore it. Did you do it on purpose?”

Theo’s tone was a bit heavy and even the corners of his eyes were red.

Zea looked down at the daisyshaped ring on her hand and she swallowed back her grievances.

This was the last thing her mother left for her. Theo searched for it for three days and three nights under the ruins of the Simmons Family.

“I originally thought that you were my sister, so I chose to bring Amber to meet you on your birthday. I didn’t expect you to treat Amber like this. Zea, you really disappoint me.”

Before Zea could explain, Theo looked at Zea with anger on his face and blamed her.

“Theo, don’t be mean to Zea. She didn’t mean it.”

Amber held Theo’s hand with a gentle tone.

Hearing Amber’s voice, Theo’s anger was extinguished instantly and he pulled her hand tightly.

“You are so considerate that you are always bullied. Does it still hurt? I’ll take you to apply medicine.”

After that, Theo hugged Amber and walked to the end of the corridor.

Zea just watched the two of them walk away quietly, without any ripples.

Theo was her stepbrother and also her childhood sweetheart.

The two families were old friends and lived opposite each other, so they grew up together since childhood.

Until they were young, a fire trapped Theo and Zea in the sea of fire.

That night, everyone in the Guzman Family went out and Zea's father and mother rushed in without hesitation.

The two were rescued safely, but Zea’s parents were trapped in the fire forever.

It only took one night for her to go from a little princess who was loved by thousands to an orphan.

Later, the Guzman Family adopted Zea.

Zea also became Theo’s stepsister.

On the day Zea stepped into the Guzman Family, Theo swore that he would treat Zea well for the rest of his life.

Zea also believed Theo’s words and really thought that he would protect her for the rest of her life.

Until Theo’s eighteenth birthday, Zea gave him a crystal ball.

All her secrets from him were hidden in that crystal ball.

She was full of expectations, but the next day, she found the crystal ball she gave him in the trash can.

The once unwavering vows also pushed them further and further away.

Zea took a deep breath and pushed the door into the box.

Although this party was prepared for Zea’s birthday, in fact, Zea didn’t know many of the people who came.

As soon as they saw Zea come in, those who were talking loudly just now shut up.

The awkward atmosphere lasted until Theo came in with Amber in his arms.

“Theo, you guys are finally back. Amber is finally back. Shouldn’t we have a drink?”

Theo’s friend, Johnny, held up the glass in his hand and looked at him teasingly.

Theo took the glass and was about to drink it, but Amber looked at me with the glass.

“Zea, I heard that today is your birthday. I toast you and wish you a happy birthday.”

Zea glanced at the amber wine in Amber’s glass and frowned slightly.

She had stomach problems since she was a child and couldn’t drink alcohol.

Seeing that Zea was slow to take Amber’s glass, Amber even pushed the glass forward.

Zea gently pushed Amber’s glass away.

“I can’t…”

Before she finished speaking, the glass in Amber’s hand slid down Zea’s hand and fell to the ground.

The glass shattered all over the floor.

“Ah!”

Theo walked over with a faint anger on his face.

“It’s fine if you don’t drink Amber’s toast, but why do you smash the cup in public? Zea, is this what you call upbringing?”

Zea was stunned when she looked at Theo. He knew that his parents had died long ago, but he still mentioned the word upbringing.

“Theo, don’t blame Zea. Maybe I didn’t hold it firmly, so I smashed the cup. It’s all my fault.”

Amber pretended to be considerate and stepped forward to hold Theo’s hand, which was pointing at Zea angrily.

Zea looked at Amber’s look and found it ridiculous.

She deliberately scratched her hand to attract attention when they first met and now she broke the wine glass, making Zea look like a sarcastic person.

Theo looked at Zea, then raised a glass of wine with a sullen face and handed it to Zea.

“Zea, toast Amber a glass of wine and apologize to her and today’s matter will be over.”

Zea looked at the glass of wine in front of her and her eyes turned cold.

In the past, Theo dared not let Zea touch a drop of wine and even when cooking, he did not allow anyone to put wine in it.

And now, for his childhood sweetheart, he actually wanted to let her drink a full glass of strong liquor.

“What if I don’t drink it?” Zea said coldly.

Hearing Zea’s refusal, Theo’s face became even more embarrassed.

“If you don’t drink this glass of wine today and don’t apologize to Amber, then your cooperation with the Guzman Family will end here.”

Theo’s voice was not very heavy, but it hit Zea’s heart directly.

For Amber, he actually wanted to break the contract he had just signed with Guzman Group.

Although she was the adopted daughter of the Guzman Family, Zea never thought of relying on the Guzman Family.

Since graduation, she has entered a jewelry company as a designer.

This time, in order to win the joint jewelry customization for the 50th anniversary celebration of the Guzman Group, their company specially asked Zea to connect with the Guzman Family.

Zea understood how important this cooperation was to her company.

Zea looked at the wine in Theo’s hand, took it and said softly, “I’ll drink it.”

Zea picked up the wine in the glass and drank it all in one gulp. The hot wine slid down her throat, burning her stomach, making her want to vomit.

Zea tried to go to the bathroom despite the discomfort in her stomach, but Theo grabbed her hand.

“You haven’t apologized yet.”

Zea clenched her fists tightly, fearing that tears would fall in the next second.

Chapter 4 Preview

“I did nothing wrong. I didn’t smash the glass. I won’t apologize. I’ve already drunk the wine. If Mr. Guzman still wants to cancel the cooperation with our company, I can’t do anything about it.”

Looking at Zea’s cold eyes, Theo was stunned for a moment and unconsciously let go of her hand.

Zea immediately rushed out of the door. If she was a second later, she was afraid that she would vomit on the spot.

Zea rushed to the bathroom and felt like she was going to vomit.

She supported herself on the sink with her arms, trying not to fall down. Looking at the scarlet blood in the sink, Zea looked at her haggard face in the mirror and smiled bitterly.

After a simple cleanup, Zea was about to go out when she felt a surging pain in her stomach, which almost made her unable to stand.

Zea slid down slowly against the door. A waiter walked in. When he saw this scene, he was so scared that he called 911 on the spot.

The ambulance came very quickly. When Zea was pulled into the car, Theo and others just came out.

Zea was lying on a stretcher, covered with a quilt, with her head exposed, just passing by Theo and others.

Theo was afraid that the stretcher would hit Amber, so he immediately protected her in his arms.

“Can’t you watch carefully? What if it hits someone?”

Theo scolded angrily.

Amber pulled him.

“Theo, why are you so angry today? Didn’t you see that your sister was lying on the stretcher? The ambulance has come. She must have some disease. We should give them some leniency.”

“What disease? I think it’s just drinking. She doesn’t love herself. Does she still expect others to sympathize with her?”

Zea recognized Theo’s voice and a tear fell from the corner of her eyes.

The pain now made her unable to think about anything else and she could only let the emergency personnel carry her into the car.

She was sent to the hospital and after another round of examinations, it was already midnight when she was hung up with water.

Zea glanced at the wall clock.

Her 24th birthday was spent so miserably.

When she woke up again, it was already six in the morning. After hanging the drip, Zea checked out of the hospital.

When she got home, she found Theo sitting on the sofa with a serious face.

Seeing Zea come in, Theo snorted coldly.

“I just said a few words to you, but you dared to be angry and stay out all night. Zea, you are getting bolder and bolder.”

The back of her hand was bruised after the injection. Zea pressed it with her other hand and ignored Theo’s words and walked straight to the stairs.

She had just walked a few steps when she was grabbed by Theo.

“Zea, I’m talking to you. You are becoming more and more unreasonable. You treated Amber like that yesterday and she still spoke good for you. Now you have the nerve to get angry with me. Am I too good to you, so that you forget who you truly are?”

Theo’s voice was so heavy that Zea’s breathing stagnated.

Zea raised her head and met Theo’s eyes.

“I have never forgotten who I am. I am still a Simmons.”

Theo was stunned when he looked at Zea’s cold eyes.

This was the first time Zea looked at him with such eyes.

Zea shook off Theo’s hand.

“I want to rest. If you want to blame me, you have to wait until I rest.”

After saying that, he went upstairs by himself.

Theo looked at Zea’s back as she left and felt as if something was quietly slipping away.

Chapter 5 Preview

Zea was too tired and fell asleep as soon as she touched the pillow. When she woke up, it was already night.

Zea got up and went downstairs, only to see that it was pitch black downstairs.

These days, Theo's father and mother went out to travel and their helper was also on vacation, so only Zea and Theo were left at home.

Just as Zea was about to go downstairs, she heard a burst of light panting coming from the dim kitchen.

She walked downstairs slowly and as soon as she reached the door, she saw two figures overlapping in the open kitchen.

Zea felt that her mind was frozen in an instant and her breathing was about to stop.

Although she knew that Theo liked Amber and knew that there was no possibility for her and him, when she saw this scene with her own eyes, her heart still hurt.

The tears fell silently and she wanted to escape in a hurry like a loser.

But as soon as she turned around, she bumped into the vase shelf in the corner.

The vase fell to the ground and the jumping fragments scratched her ankles. She could no longer feel the pain.

The light was turned on.

Looking at the mess on the ground, Theo frowned and walked out with Amber.

“You are so impatient. Do you know how much the vase you broke is worth? This is my mother’s favorite blue and white porcelain.”

Theo did not notice the blood dripping from Zea’s feet at all and only blamed her.

“Theo, it’s okay, Zea didn’t mean it. It’s all your fault for not turning on the light just now and you insisted on dragging me in the kitchen…”

Amber didn’t finish her words and she reached out and touched her lips with a shy face. The meaning was already very clear.

Zea tightly grasped the corner of her clothes and tried to force herself not to look at the two of them.

“I’m sorry, I will compensate Aunt Judy with an identical one.”

After so many years, Zea still didn’t get used to calling Judy mom and Judy also respected her wishes and let her call her Aunt Judy all the time.

Theo snorted coldly at Zea’s appearance.

“Your salary may not be enough to compensate even if you work for a few more years. My mother treats you so well, but you still refuse to call her mother. You are such an ungrateful person.”

Zea didn’t know why she returned to the room. The scenes just now kept replaying in her mind.

It turned out that in Theo’s heart, she was just an ungrateful person who ate the Guzman Family’s free food.

Zea promised on the spot that she would definitely compensate for the vase.

After sorting out her mood, Zea sat on the bed, silent.

After sitting for a while, she checked the broken vase and took a breath.

1.396.473 dollars.

She smiled to herself. No wonder Theo said she might not be able to afford it.

1.396.473 dollars may be just the price of a necklace for Zea in the past, but for Zea now, it is a skyhigh price.

Zea looked at the balance of her bank card. There was only more than 139.733 dollars in it and there was still more than 1.116.648 dollars short of 1.396.473 dollars.

It seemed that she could only find a way to make more money and return the 1.396.473 dollars to the Guzman Family.

After making up her mind, Zea packed her things again.

She didn’t have much stuff. She knew that she was living under someone else’s roof, so she never dared to make excessive demands. Unless Judy insisted on giving it to her, she would not take a penny from the Guzman Family.

She was busy until the middle of the night and then Zea fell asleep in a daze.

Zea got up early the next morning.

She was going to Guzman Group today to finalize the final details of the joint model.

As soon as she arrived at Guzman Group, before she even stepped into Theo’s office, Zea’s phone rang.

It was Zea’s colleague who called.

“Zea, we are in trouble. Guzman Group just sent an email to our company, saying that they want to cancel the cooperation with us.”

Zea frowned.

“How is it possible? Guzman Group necklace must be made in time for their anniversary celebration. If we go to other design companies now, they will not have enough time to redesign it!”

Besides, she had obviously drunk that glass of wine that night. Theo could not go back on his word.

Zea knocked on the door of Theo’s office with doubts.

As soon as she pushed the door open, she saw Amber leaning on Theo’s shoulder, feeding Theo biscuits attentively.

As soon as she saw Zea, Theo’s originally gentle eyebrows were visibly coated with a hint of disgust.

“Why are you here?”

“Why do you want to cancel the cooperation with our company?” Zea asked in a cold voice.

“Don’t you know why?” Theo raised his eyebrows and a trace of impatience flashed in his eyes.

“You scratched Amber’s hand that day and broke her wine glass, but you didn’t apologize.”

Zea paused.

He could do this to protect Amber.

“I drank that glass of wine according to your request. I did nothing wrong. Why should I apologize? That wine glass was her…”

Before Zea finished speaking, she was interrupted by Theo in a cold voice.

“Zea, don’t do whatever you want just because you are the adopted daughter of the Guzman Family. Although Amber has repeatedly pleaded for you, you should remember it. If you don’t apologize to Amber, don’t think about getting the cooperation of Guzman Group.”

Zea looked at Theo’s bottomless eyes and her heart seemed to fall into an ice cave, making her back cold.

She knew that Theo was serious.

She tightly grasped the corner of her clothes and slowly lowered her head.

“Amber, I’m sorry.”

Zea felt that her selfesteem was trampled under someone’s feet. The humiliation swept through her body, making her unable to raise her head.

But she needed this cooperation. If she won this contract, she would have a design bonus of 279.466 dollars.

She still owed the Guzman Family a blue and white porcelain vase.

She had to pay back her debt.

“Amber, although she apologized, it still depends on you whether to forgive her or not. If you are unwilling to forgive her, then I will still not agree to cooperate with their company.”

Theo’s words were like a knife, falling on Zea’s heart.

Now she was as humble as a mouse crawling in the dark.

“Okay, Zea has apologized, so don’t embarrass her.”

Amber’s light words hit Zea like a heavy hammer.

Zea slowly raised her head and looked at Theo coldly.

“Mr. Guzman, can we check the final details of the product now?”

Theo stretched out his hand to Zea.

“Since Amber has forgiven you, give it to me!”

Theo took the design draft handed over by Zea and signed his name without even looking at it.

After signing, Theo threw the design draft in front of Zea as if giving alms.

Chapter 7 Preview

“Take your things and leave quickly.”

Zea slowly lowered her head and picked up the manuscript she had worked hard on for a month.

A tear just fell on the gemstone drawn on the manuscript.

After leaving Guzman Group, it started to rain heavily under the gray sky.

Zea stood at the door and tried to hail a taxi for a long time, but failed. She stood alone at the bus stop, leaning against the billboard, exhausted.

At this time, a horn sounded and Zea was about to look up when she saw a Ferrari rushing on the road.

The speed of the car was so fast that Zea didn’t have time to see the license plate clearly and only saw the car passing by her quickly.

The wheels drove through the puddle, stirring up a layer of waves, soaking Zea like a drowned chicken.

Zea held her bag tightly in her arms, fearing that the manuscript inside would get wet.

When she looked up again, she only saw the back of the Ferrari and the familiar license plate.

It was Theo’s car.

The grievances accumulated in Zea’s heart. She could no longer control her emotions. She squatted down and burst into tears.

Zea didn’t know how long she cried. After calming down, she sniffed and slowly stood up.

Life had to go on. Anyway, she only had half a month left in the Guzman Family.

After she collected the money and compensated the Guzman Family for the vase, she would go to Chark and start a new life.

Zea came to the bar at night.

Zea’s friend introduced her to a parttime job as a resident singer in a bar.

Because it was a highend bar, she could earn hundreds of thousands of dollars every night by singing and tips.

Zea changed into a black dress and sat on the stage. The moment she picked up the microphone, she seemed to have changed into a different person, shining.

Just after singing a song, Zea was about to go down to rest and saw a pair of scarlet eyes staring at her in the corner.

Theo stared at her with gloomy eyes, but Zea ignored Theo and went backstage.

As soon as he stood up, Theo could no longer control his emotions and rushed onto the stage, grabbing Zea’s wrist fiercely.

“Do you know what you are doing?”

Zea looked at Theo with cold eyes without any emotion.

“I know very well what I am doing, I don’t bother Mr. Guzman to worry about it.”

After saying that, Zea was about to shake off Theo’s hand, but Theo was indifferent and increased the strength of his hand.

“Zea, don’t challenge my patience, come home with me quickly.”

Theo’s eyes were gloomy and terrible, Zea knew that he should be very angry now.

“I won’t go back, I make money honestly with my own ability, why should I leave?”

Zea refused coldly.

“Does our Guzman Family not give you food or clothes? Do you have to come out to embarrass yourself and discredit our Guzman Family before you are willing?”

Theo’s voice almost came out from between his teeth.

Discredit?

It turned out that coming out to work was to discredit the Guzman Family.

Zea laughed at herself and glanced at the people watching below the stage.

“Let’s talk about it when we get back! I still have to work.”

Theo shook off Zea’s hand fiercely.

“Go back? You still have the nerve to mention it? If you don’t quit this embarrassing job, don’t even think about going back to the Guzman Family.”

Theo used almost all his strength and Zea took a step back, hitting her waist on the stool and her face wrinkled in pain.

Chapter 8 Preview

Theo didn’t expect his hand to be so strong. He was slightly stunned. He wanted to help Zea, but he couldn’t bear to lose face. He put his hands behind his back and snorted coldly.

“Come home quickly.”

Zea looked up at Theo and was about to speak when she saw Amber walk up to the stage from the crowd and hold Theo’s arm.

“Theo, don’t force Zea. Maybe she saw us together and she wanted to fall in love, so she came to this bar to sing and attract other people’s attention.”

Amber’s implication was that Zea came to the bar to seduce men.

Theo’s guilt just now disappeared because of Amber’s words.

“Zea, are you so short of men? You are willing to be shameless and come to the bar? Do you still have any shame?”

Theo’s unpleasant words made Zea want to find a hole to crawl into.

When her parents were alive, she was the apple of their eyes. Now that her parents were gone, Theo's father and mother also never said a harsh word to her.

But what Theo said to her today undoubtedly tore her selfesteem apart.

Amber raised her eyebrows and looked at her with pride in her eyes.

“Zea, I know what you thought about Theo in the past, but now Theo has me by his side. No matter how much you want to attract his attention, it’s useless. You are just his sister.”

Zea felt that her mind exploded with a “boom”.

Those secrets hidden in her heart were just announced in public.

She was embarrassed and ashamed and her eyes unconsciously looked at Theo.

Theo looked at her with disgust, as if he was looking at a dirty thing.

“Amber, stop talking about the past. If she doesn’t want to cooperate, I will send her abroad.”

At this moment, Zea finally understood why Theo avoided her after her 18th birthday.

It turned out that he saw the love she hid in the crystal ball that day.

So, the next day she saw the crystal ball she had carefully prepared in the trash can, it turned out that Theo knew everything and had been rejecting her in his selfrighteous way.

In his eyes, her love for him was like garbage.

“Oh my God, the Guzman Family kindly adopted her, but she actually wanted to marry into the Guzman Family. How could she be so shameless!”

“I was wondering why she, an adopted daughter of the Guzman Family, came to sing in a bar. It turned out that she wanted to attract the attention of her brother. She really has no sense of ethical shame.”

“Mr. Guzman already has a girlfriend, but she still pesters him. She is really despicable.”

The discussions under the stage were like knives stabbing Zea’s body, leaving her covered in wounds.

Zea’s face turned blue and red and her eyes were sore from shame and anger. If her friend, Alina, hadn’t arrived in time, she might really not be able to hold on.

Zea didn’t know how she got back home. She was overwhelmed by the collapse and humiliation. She locked herself in the room, cried until her tears dried and sat quietly in front of the window.

It seemed that she had to leave early.

Theo didn’t go home all night, which just saved her the embarrassment of meeting him.

The next day, Zea went to the company to pack up her things. She had already submitted her resignation letter when she agreed to go to Chark with her uncle.

Now that the cooperation had been won, there was no need for her to stay in the company.

The bonus was deposited into her account in full, but it was still more than 838.398 dollars short of 1.396.473 dollars.

Zea remembered that her parents had set up a Zea Fund for her since she was a child and saved a sum of money for her. As long as she came of age, she could withdraw 139.733 dollars every year.

Now she had just come of age for five years.

Zea took the money from the foundation and now she only needed a few 13.973 dollars.

Just when she was in trouble, her uncle called.

“Zea, I have a friend whose grandmother is about to turn 80. He wants you to design a piece of jewelry for him. The design fee is unlimited. You have to go back to Chark anyway. Do you want to consider the next project?” Her uncle asked cautiously.

After the Simmons Family got into trouble, Zea’s uncle had to entrust Zea to the Guzman Family in order to stabilize the Simmons Family’s fragmented business.

So all these years, her uncle had always felt indebted to Zea.

“Okay, uncle, I will take over this project, but I have a request. Can you ask your friend to give me a deposit of 600,000 first?” Zea asked tentatively.

Hearing Zea say this, although her uncle was a little confused, he did not ask directly and agreed to Zea without thinking. “I can give you the money right away. When are you going to come to Chark, I can send someone to pick you up.”

“Tomorrow,” Zea answered softly.

Hearing Zea’s answer, her uncle felt relieved immediately. After hanging up the phone, Zea received a deposit of 600,000 from the uncle.

After collecting the money, Zea immediately looked for someone to buy a blue and white porcelain vase. The vase would not be delivered until the next day and it happened that the vase was delivered and he could leave.

Early the next morning, Zea dragged the suitcase downstairs. As soon as Zea walked to the door, the door was pushed open. Theo stood at the door against the light and his face sank when he saw the suitcase in Zea’s hand. "Where are you going?"

“As you wish, leave the Guzman Family,” Zea said coldly.

Chapter 9 Preview

Theo was stunned and then his face darkened.

“Zea, you have grown bolder, right? There should be a limit to your troubles, don’t keep challenging my bottom line.”

Amber followed Theo with a smug smile on her face.

“Zea was probably sad because you were in public yesterday, so she wanted to run away from home to threaten you.”

Zea put the suitcase at the door and looked out. The deliveryman hadn’t come yet.

Theo smiled contemptuously at this.

“Why, you’re not going to leave? Why aren’t you leaving now?”

Amber gently pushed Theo.

“Theo, look at how you talk! Zea ran away from home just to show you. Now that you’re back, she won’t really leave. She’s still waiting for you to coax her!”

After saying that, Amber pulled Theo’s hand and took him one step forward.

“Otherwise, you can say something nice to Zea and give her a way out. After all, she is still your sister and you can’t make things difficult for your uncle and aunt!”

Theo looked at Zea and snorted. “If she really wants to leave, let her go. Our Guzman Family is not a place where she can come whenever she wants. If she really leaves, don’t expect our Guzman Family to accept her again.”

Zea looked at Theo’s sharp eyes and her face darkened.

“Don’t worry, I won’t come back.”

Hearing Zea’s answer, Theo was startled. Before he could sarcastically say anything, Amber spoke before him.

“Zea, I know you are still sad about what happened yesterday, but Theo is your brother. Whether it is moral ethics or other aspects, you are impossible. Why do you force him? If you leave the Guzman Family, you will be nothing.”

Although Amber’s tone was persuasive, there was a hint of threat in her eyes.

“Amber, you don’t have to be hypocritical. I know you don’t want me to stay in the Guzman Family. You don’t have to treat me as an imaginary enemy. I have already let go of Theo. He is now just my stepbrother.”

Zea’s voice was very light, but it revealed a chill.

“Zea.”

He didn’t know which of Zea’s words angered Theo. Theo had a gloomy face and directly passed Amber to grab Zea’s wrist and held it tightly in his palm.

“Say it again.”

Theo’s voice was like coming out of his teeth.
